Three-cornered hat as used by most armies in the 18th century. Can be made in any variant, for most units and armies. Illustrated are only a few samples of various tricorne hats made for British and French uniforms, the original extant Swedish 1756 hat kept at Stockholm's Armémuseum, and a c. 1786 Prussian hat preserved at the Zeughaus in Berlin.
Made of sturdy, thick, good quality felt blanks, with border binding of wool or metal braid, loop, button and cockade, inside lining of linen and/or leather. Available in standard hat sizes.
