French 1747/1757 justeaucorps
French pattern 1747 and 1757 coat or Justeaucorps, of grey-white wool broadcloth (drap de Lodève), fully lined with wool twill serge (serge d'Aumale), collar and cuffs of facing cloth, brass or pewter buttons and false pocket flaps according to regiment. The coat is also available for sergeants in finer cloth (drap de Bédarieux) and rank silver/gold lace around cuffs and pocket flaps, or for officers, in superfine cloth (drap d'Elbeuf) and fine wool serge (raz de castor) or silk serge lining. Both sergeant's and officer's coats have centre back vent pleats and additional side pleats.
This same coat can also be made in blue with red cuffs and lining for Royal Artillerie, or in any other colour combinations for dragoon regiments. Specify your unit and/or regiment in the appropriate box.
