French kepi pattern 1852, 1858 or 1867
French képi (forage cap) of the type in use between 1852 and 1871. All patterns are available, they are made of correctly replicated madder red wool cloth (like our trousers available in the same collection), with blue cloth turban and piping cords, leather patent square peak, soft leather head band and inside lining, in every smallest detail exactly conforming to regulation specs and original extant examples, and entirely hand-sewn. Nothing like the false, inaccurate replicas you see elsewhere! Made in standard hat sizes, specify your own when ordering. Also available are NCOs and officers versions.
