Complete uniform of the Gendarme of the French Maison du Roy, c. 1735, carefully reconstructed from period pictorial sources and modern studies by Rousselot and Pétard.
The uniform comprises the following items of clothing and equipment:
coat, waistcoat, breeeches, jackboots, shirt, neckstock, hat, waistbelt.
It can be made by standard sizes or made to measure (see form above). The elaborately laced and embroidered officers version is also available.
