Hussar Hungarian pantaloons

Hussar Hungarian-style pantaloons or long breeches for cavalry units of most Napoleonic armies. Reconstructed from the plates and text of the various regulations and extant original specimens, they are made of broadcloth or kersey ("tricot"), faced with natural hemp or linen canvas at waistband, fall and knees. Lower leg slit closed with hooks an eyes, instep of cloth or leather. Distinctive "hungarian knot" of flat braid decorating the narrow front fall, as well as along the outer leg seams. Same cloth waistband closed with buttons and back ties or buckled strap.
These traditional netherwear remained quite unchanged through successive patterns, please specify in the notes which army and unit you actually recreate. Available in standard sizes or by measure (fill-in the measure form in the last picture above).
