Linen or duck trousers

Linen or duck trousers

Marching or stable trousers in linen, hemp or duck. Used by most armies during the Napoleonic wars, they differed very little from one another. Generally they had wide "falls" (front flaps) that opened from the hips, but sometimes they were also made with narrower falls. Available in many fabrics and by standard sizes and inside leg lengths.
