Napoleon's grenadier habit

Napoleon's grenadier habit

Almost as iconic as the chasseur habit is the one of Napoleon as colonel of the grenadiers à pied of the Old Guard, the one he often wore for ceremonial occasions, and official portraits. Closely copied from the one preserved at Fontainebleau (itself actually a 19th century copy of the original habit), it is made of superfine blue cloth, with white lapels and cuff flaps, red cuffs, lined with scarlet cloth and white twill silk in the back and sleeves.

An habit like this made by myself is also worn by Mark Schneider as Napoleon at many events.

It can be made with the same measures as Napoleon's or to your own. Also by standard chest sizes and heights.

Gilt epaulettes and silver garter star of the Legion d'Honneur can be bought separately.
