Richmond depot type III Confederate jacket

Faithfully replicated Confederate Richmond Depot style III jacket for enlisted men, made of wool Britsh army kersey, and lined with natural cotton osnaburg, with infantry "I" brass buttons.
Available in standard Confederate sizes, plus an Xlarge size, or also made to measure.
The pattern has been developed from Devere's tailoring treatise which captures the style and cut of period uniforms. Thes jackets have a curved, pigeon's breast front, a sloping shoulder line, tight waist, close armhole and narrow back. They were meant to be worn so as to enforce the military, erect stance. Not like other similar items sold by sutlers that use modern, unauthentic patterns.
