Sleeved waistcoat
Sleeved waistcoat as worn until the 1770s by most armies. This one is the unlaced version, made of wool broadcloth or kersey ("tricot"), and lined with either wool bay or serge, or also raw linen, false pocket flaps (private soldiers vests generally had only one, or no functional pockets at all). Brass or pewter buttons. Worked buttonholes.
